This public information meeting will provide you with the information you need regarding the City’s plans to respond to the 2012 Fraser River Freshet and any potential flood.

When: Tuesday, May 22, 2012, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Note that a public presentation will be made at 4:30 p.m. and repeated at 6:00 p.m.

Burnaby wins the 2007 Environmental Awareness and Knowledge (PEAK) Award  from Philips and the BC Hydro Power Smart Excellence Award in the “Outstanding Energy Efficiency Project” Category

The Philips PEAK award and the BC Hydro Power Smart Excellence Award in the “Outstanding Energy Efficiency Project” Category were received by the City of Burnaby for elements of the City’s $5.8M energy performance contract that reduced electricity use by four million kWh per year and natural gas use by 24,000 gigajoules per year in City facilities.
