April 18: Planned Outage of Websites and Online Services for Maintenance

On Saturday, April 18 from 1:00-5:00 PM, the following websites and online services will not be available while system maintenance is performed. Websites and online services may become available during this time frame, but may be subject to intermittent availability. We thank you for your patience.

  • WebReg - program registration for recreation and arts activities
  • eAgenda - agendas, minutes, reports for Council, Board, Committee and Commission meetings
  • Burnaby Map - interactive mapping application
  • Dog Licences - renewals  
  • Portal Login - for tenants of city owned properties and city employees
    (This service will be restored at 8:00 AM Monday, April 20)

Canadian Olympic Rowing Teams Training at Burnaby Lake

2012 Summer Olympic Rowing Team

With less than a month to go, the Canadian Rowing Teams are training on Burnaby Lake from July 5-6, 2012 in preparation for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. The team won 4 medals at the 2008 Beijing Olympics including gold for the Men’s Eight.

Come down to view and cheer on the teams during the practice. For best viewing, it is recommended that the you enter on the north side of the lake (enter from Piper Avenue off of Government Street). The team is practicing both Thursday, July 5 and Friday, July 6 at 9am and again at 3pm. Note: trainiing times may fluctuate.
