This public information meeting will provide you with the information you need regarding the City’s plans to respond to the 2012 Fraser River Freshet and any potential flood.

Where: Riverway Golf Course Clubhouse, 9001 Bill Fox Way, Burnaby, BC
When: Tuesday, May 22, 2012, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Note that a public presentation will be made at 4:30 p.m. and repeated at 6:00 p.m.

Bulky Item Pick-Up

Single Family Bulky Item & Appliance Pick-Up

  • Call 604-294-7972 to arrange a bulky item or appliance pick-up on your next collection day

Multi-Family Bulky Item & Appliance Pick-Up

  • If your multi-family complex receives City garbage and recycling service, your complex should have a designated covered area for bulky items and appliances
  • Contact your complex Manager or Management Company to arrange for a pick-up from the City
  • Please note that residents are responsible for getting their bulky item or appliance out of their unit to the designated pick-up location

Bulky Item & Appliance Pick-Up Reminders

  • Please call 604-294-7972 for acceptable items and to arrange a pick-up. Do not place items out at the curb without arranging a pick-up; they will not be collected
  • For pick-up, you must be a Burnaby resident that receives curbside or multi-family garbage and recycling collection from the City
  • Only one (1) item can be put out per week per collection
  • For curbside collection, do not place items next to your garbage or yard trimmings containers. Set them within three feet (3ft) of the curb or lane on your property
  • For multi-family collection, please ensure your items are placed in the designated location on your complex's property. Do not place any items on boulevards, medians or city lanes or streets
