Provincial Take-Back Programs

There are various consumer products that are being collected in British Columbia through Provincial Take-Back Programs (referred to as Product Stewardship or Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)). Through these programs, stewardship agencies manage the take-back of products on behalf of manufacturers after consumers are finished with them. They recycle or dispose of these products safely, keeping them out of the garbage.

For more information on Provincial Take Back Programs, contact the Recycling Council of BC 604-RECYCLE or www.rcbc.bc.ca.
