Multi-Family Garbage Guidelines
The City of Burnaby provides weekly collection of garbage from Multi-Family complexes. Please follow these guidelines:
- No banned or prohibited materials are to be placed in your complexe's garbage container
- Please bag your garbage before placing it in the container
- Check to see if your waste is really a Food Scrap or Recyclable product
Keep It Out
There are a number of materials that find their way into Burnaby’s Multi-Family garbage containers that are banned or prohibited. Items such as mattresses, electronics and even hazardous products are not allowed in Burnaby’s garbage.
