This public information meeting will provide you with the information you need regarding the City’s plans to respond to the 2012 Fraser River Freshet and any potential flood.

When: Tuesday, May 22, 2012, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Note that a public presentation will be made at 4:30 p.m. and repeated at 6:00 p.m.

Commercial Vehicle Licence

Any vehicle operating as a commercial vehicle under the Commercial Transport Act, or any vehicle used for the collection and/or delivery of merchandise or other commodity in the ordinary course of business, requires a licence. 

Burnaby participates in the Provincial Commercial Vehicle Licence program by collecting fees and issuing commercial vehicle licence decals in accordance with Provincial requirements.

Fees & Information

To obtain a Commercial Vehicle Licence, the vehicle owner or operator must apply in person at the Licence Office with current Vehicle Registration papers. The vehicle must be insured for business use. The Commercial Vehicle Licence expires annually on December 31. A decal purchased in November or December is valid through to the following year.

Commercial Vehicle Licence Fees are payable to the Burnaby Licence Office by cash, cheque, Interac or credit card using the Credit Card Payments form.
