This public information meeting will provide you with the information you need regarding the City’s plans to respond to the 2012 Fraser River Freshet and any potential flood.

Where: Riverway Golf Course Clubhouse, 9001 Bill Fox Way, Burnaby, BC
When: Tuesday, May 22, 2012, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Note that a public presentation will be made at 4:30 p.m. and repeated at 6:00 p.m.

Understanding Your Paper Statements

Trouble understanding your Tax Notice paper statement? Read through our 2011 Tax Brochure. The second page has information to help you with your paper statement.

Please keep in mind:

  • Property taxes are collected by Burnaby for a number of Taxation Authorities
  • Each line listed under the heading "Tax Authorities" represent a service for which a property may be taxed
  • Burnaby keeps only the revenue from items listed in the yellow section

Change of Address

If the mailing address on your Tax Notice is incorrect, please complete and return the Change of Address Form with your tax payment and/or completed Home Owner Grant application.

It is important to keep your address current for property assessment and taxation purposes.
