It’s more than just an arena! Bill Copeland Sports Centre has a NHL regulation ice rink and features retractable seats and removable boards that transform it into a convention and trade show space ready for rental. The exceptional acoustic, lighting and sound systems make it ideal for large sporting events, concerts and graduation ceremonies. Seminar rooms are also available to accommodate both small and large gatherings and are equipped with everything needed for a productive meeting.
The sports centre is the anchor for the developing Burnaby Lake Sports Complex, already the site of playing fields, tennis courts, archery, rowing and equestrian facilities, an indoor pool and jogging track

Flip charts, VCR, TV monitor, overhead projector, screen and podium are available for your convenience.
Catering
There are three individual concession outlets to meet the needs of every size group. CITY, a full catering service is also available for special functions of all types including small meetings, banquets, private receptions and outdoor barbeques. Bill Copeland Sports Centre has a Class E Liquor License and is permitted to serve alcoholic beverages as required.
