Centrally located in the heart of Burnaby’s Metrotown area, this large grassy area sits on the Bob Prittie Library grounds, between Kingsborough and Central Boulevard. The square is surrounded by plantings and fountains and features a stage area for performances.

Civic Square has been home to Summer Sundays in the Park, Outdoor Movies in the Park along with other events such as the outdoor viewing site for the Stanley Cup Finals and Environment Week.
