Fire Prevention

In Fire Prevention, we say that “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” Our proactive approach and pre-incident planning helps to protect Burnaby citizens and firefighters from injury before a fire even starts.

Our Public Education Program strives to bring fire safety awareness to the public. Here, you'll find information and fire safety tips for everyone from school-aged children to seniors to work groups.  

Fire Inspections for Your Building

Our trained personnel conduct the annual inspection for all commercial and mutli-family residential buildings in Burnaby, and inspections for all new businesses. Use the checklists and read these documents through to ensure that you are up to code before this year's inspection.
