This public information meeting will provide you with the information you need regarding the City’s plans to respond to the 2012 Fraser River Freshet and any potential flood.

Where: Riverway Golf Course Clubhouse, 9001 Bill Fox Way, Burnaby, BC
When: Tuesday, May 22, 2012, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Note that a public presentation will be made at 4:30 p.m. and repeated at 6:00 p.m.

Freedom of Information Requests

The Burnaby Fire Department is responsible for maintaining records for every permit it issues, as well as an in-depth fire inspection history.  Under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy act any member of the public may request access to these records.

Storage Tank Permit Records

Looking to see if a property in Burnaby has ever had a permit to install or remove a storage tank?  Simply fill out a request form and submit it to fire@burnaby.ca.  We will respond within 10 business days.

Fire Inspection History

The Fire Department inspects all commercial and multi-family residential buildings in Burnaby for fire safety.  If you would like information regarding our latest inspection findings at a property, a request form can be sent to fire@burnaby.ca

Please Note:  Record requests require the written authorization of the current property owner to release the information.
