Urban Villages

Burnaby’s 13 designated Urban villages also offer a mix of commercial and residential uses.

Urban villages are intended to provide opportunities for non-town centre scale housing and a range of more day-to-day commercial services.  Urban villages are generally characterized by smaller scale mixed use development (in the three to four storey range).
