Graffiti Art Painting

Graffiti Art

The graffiti art painting project first took place in 2007 as part of Youth Week at the Summit Skate Park Showdown Event.

The graffiti art painting event has been running successfully every year since at Summit Youth Centre. It is a unique opportunity to showcase the talents of graffiti artists.

Artists Denis Dvoryankin, Vladimir Fedulov and Daniel Buzelli facilitate the graffiti art painting sessions. Any youth who are interested in creating a painting are given a board and a variety of colourful spray paint. Denis, Vlad and Daniel help make it fun and give advice and assistance to participants. Approximately 20 youth create paintings during the event. The Summit Youth Centre as well as other Burnaby youth centres have a few paintings on display.

“…thank you for this opportunity, it is a pleasure for me and my friends to have free paint and canvas to show off our art to people.” – Denis D.
