This public information meeting will provide you with the information you need regarding the City’s plans to respond to the 2012 Fraser River Freshet and any potential flood.

When: Tuesday, May 22, 2012, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Note that a public presentation will be made at 4:30 p.m. and repeated at 6:00 p.m.

Submission Guidelines

A call for Artist-in-Residence submissions will precede the deadline by six weeks and will indicate the type of artistic discipline available for a residency. For each Artist-in-Residence deadline, a different artistic medium will be chosen.

Submission Requirements:

  • Curriculum Vitaes of all principal artists involved in project
  • Artist-in-Residence proposal not to exceed 2 - 8.5 X 11, double-spaced typewritten pages
  •  Budget of project, including the Shadbolt Centre’s in-kind contribution
  •  Timeline of project
  •  2 letters of references from professionals within the applicable discipline
  • All proposals should indicate the community benefit for the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts; the intrinsic value of the contribution by the Shadbolt Centre to the development and/or production of the artistic work and how the residency will enhance the artistic life of the artist(s).

Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, incomplete applications will not be considered.

 

Visual Arts and Ceramics Artist-in-Residence applications are being accepted through April 15, 2012.

Performing Arts Artist-in-Residence applications are not being accepted for the 2012/13 season.
