Affordable Family Fun

Affordable - Family Fun

Staying active doesn’t have to cost a fortune – not when Burnaby Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services offers some free and affordable family fun for kids and parents alike.

Start by checking out our latest schedule of planned programs and events. You’ll find swimming and skating opportunities for the low price of a loonie along with a variety of free events tailor-made for the whole family.

Of course, the great outdoors offers an anytime schedule for solo, group and family activities. Take a gentle stroll, brisk walk or vigorous hike on the trails winding around Deer Lake or Burnaby Lake. Play catch or throw a Frisbee in your nearest neighbourhood park. Pack a picnic and get thee to one of our scenic waterfront or view parks. Let your dog romp happily and mingle with other canine pals in one of our popular off-leash areas.

Breathing the fresh air and enjoying the sun doesn’t cost a penny. And the benefits to your health are incalculable.
