This public information meeting will provide you with the information you need regarding the City’s plans to respond to the 2012 Fraser River Freshet and any potential flood.

When: Tuesday, May 22, 2012, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Note that a public presentation will be made at 4:30 p.m. and repeated at 6:00 p.m.

Burnaby has three arenas for you to learn to skate, get some exercise skating or play hockey. Two arenas, Bill Copeland and Burnaby Lake, are located next to each other in the Central Valley area and Kensingston is located in north Burnaby.

Children’s Admission Policy

Children 7 years of age or younger must be accompanied on the ice by a person 16 years of age or older. We do not recommend that parents leave their children under 10 years old unaccompanied at our facility.

Note: Groups of 15 or more wanting to attend public or loonie skating sessions need to provide the arena program coordinator with at least five days’ notice so that appropriate staff levels can be arranged.
