Weight Room Etiquette

It's just a matter of good sense. Please remember to:
- Attend an orientation session or a personalized lifestyle session if you are new to the weight room.
- Ask our weight room staff for assistance and advice on new equipment or exercises.
- Wear proper footwear (no sandals or open-toe shoes).
- Use sign-up boards for cardio equipment.
- Wear deodorant, but not perfume or cologne.
- Clean off equipment after use with a towel.
- Return weights and plates to their proper racks and stands.
- Keep self-expression to a minimum. No grunting or singing over your iPod.
- Wash your workout gear regularly.
- Share the equipment, allowing others to work in with you.
