Skating Lacross Floor

Skate with us!

Come ice skating or play a great game of ice hockey in our 2,000 seat arena.

Wooden Floor

During the spring and summer, the ice is replaced with a shock-absorbing wooden floor! Primarily for lacrosse, this space can be converted for indoor events and other sports tournaments (badminton, basketball or gymnastics).

About Us

Bill Copeland Sports Centre has twin arenas, 2,000-seat spectator capacity, ice skating & other ice sports (fall/winter), dry-floor season (spring/summer), meeting room rentals, food service; 73,000-sq.-ft. space available for conventions, consumer shows, concerts and banquets.

In 2011, we installed a new 17,000 square foot portable maple wood lacrosse floor providing an excellent playing surface.

Parking is available for Bill Copeland and Burnaby Lake arena on the west side of the facility directly out front of Bill Copeland. This is shared with CG Brown Pool. Ample parking is also located on the east side of the Sports Complex off Joe Sakic Way across Sperling Street; this is shared with the sports fields and rugby clubhouse.
