This public information meeting will provide you with the information you need regarding the City’s plans to respond to the 2012 Fraser River Freshet and any potential flood.

When: Tuesday, May 22, 2012, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Note that a public presentation will be made at 4:30 p.m. and repeated at 6:00 p.m.

55+ Membership

A current 55+ membership card ($15.67 per year) is required to participate in the seniors’ activities. Registration is available at the seniors’ registration counter on the upper floor, Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm. For more information regarding programs for people aged 55+ at Bonsor call 604-297-4580.

55+ Weight Room

Senior’s only weight training is available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 10:30-11:30am, for a drop-in fee of $3.62.
Valid 55+ membership is required.

Volunteers Needed!

The Bonsor 55+ Society and staff would like to thank our committed senior volunteers. We always encourage members to get involved and be active in the community—please contact the seniors’ volunteer coordinator at 604-297-4587 if you are interested in volunteering.

Computer Classes

Lessons are offered by knowledgeable volunteers in basic to intermediate levels of computer use, word processing, internet, email, photo management and more. Look for registration posters in the Bonsor Seniors’ Lounge. Valid 55+ membership is required. Fee: $10.00 per session, FREE supervised practice times Tuesdays 1-3pm (preferred seating to current course registrants).

Snooker

Enjoy a friendly game of snooker on one of our fine tables. Check the snooker board for league play, fees and tournament dates.Tables available during seniors lounge hours, starting at 8:30am.
