Easily accessible from the main parking lot on Burnaby Mountain, the Centennial Rose Garden features over 900 thorn-decked bushes laden with glorious, wonderfully fragrant buds.

There are enough varieties here, in fact, to disprove that famous old saying: “a rose is a rose is a rose.”  Other attractions on Burnaby Mountain: Horizons Restaurant, forested trails galore and Playground of the Gods, a remarkable work of art created by Ainu sculptors, members of Japan's aboriginal people.
