Flanders Poppies

A new Flander's Poppy bed is growing in Taylor Park. These poppies were planted by Taylor Park School students in May this year, as part of The BC Veterans Commemorative Association initiative. Beds were planted in two parks - Central and Taylor. The poppies in full bloom at the beginning of August. Check them out, they are just off the entrance to Taylor Park on Mission Ave.

Take a moment to reflect. In memory of Canada’s returned and fallen veterans who voluntarily served during peace and war, securing values of justice and freedom throughout Canada and the world.
