11:00am-4:30pm The focus for the annual exhibits will be on Tools of the Trade – the logging and milling trades and their impact on the environment and the workers. Visitors will be given character cards to let them walk in the footsteps of period tradespeople. |

This promises to be a busy day at the museum. Student submissions to the "Rivers to Sea" Regional Heritage Fair will be displayed throughout the site, as well as a new exhibition debuting in Stride Studios. view more |

victoria day |

Pomp. Ceremony. Fun. The Burnaby Village Museum site is set in the 1920s - a place where pictures of King George V and Queen Mary are hung in the school house, where the Union Jack flies over the site and where Victoria Day is celebrated in grand style. Special entertainment all day long. After the parade, be presented to Queen Victoria by her ladies-in-waiting during the Queen's Levee. Enjoy a piece of birthday cake. >> view more |
