Tax Office - General Information
The City of Burnaby Tax Office is responsible for the billing and collection of utilities and property taxes. Utility Statements for water & sewer charges are mailed out in February and are due in mid-March. Property Tax Statements are mailed out at the end of May and are due on the 2nd business day of July.
In addition to collecting property taxes, the Tax Office is also responsible for collecting taxes for other authorities, including Provincial Schools, Translink, Metro Vancouver, Municipal Finance Authority, and B.C. Assessment.
