The Central Valley Greenway is a 24 km route for cycling, jogging, walking, wheelchairs, skateboarding and blading. A major transportation and recreation project that runs from New Westminster through Burnaby to Vancouver, the route runs parallel to the Millennium SkyTrain line.

The BC Parkway is a 26 km route that parallels the Expo SkyTrain line from Surrey through New Westminster, South Burnaby and Vancouver and can be used for both walking and wheeling.
