Brentwood Skytrain

Burnaby is located close to the centre of Metro Vancouver’s transit system. This infrastructure includes SkyTrains, SeaBuses and buses that run throughout the Lower Mainland.

The SkyTrain is an automated rapid transit system, operating in the Lower Mainland with 68 kilometres of track and 49 stations, eleven of which are in Burnaby.

Burnaby is part of Metro Vancouver's Translink public transportation system, with buses running approximately between 5 AM and 1 AM. The City has 11 SkyTrain stations that span central and south Burnaby via two lines: Expo Line and Millennium Line.

The travel time from Metrotown to downtown Vancouver via the SkyTrain is approximately 20 minutes. There are many buses that connect Burnaby with its neighbourhoods and neighbouring cities. Some handy bus routes include:

  • #110 - Connects Lougheed Mall with Metrotown Mall
  • #130 - Runs between downtown Vancouver and Brentwood Mall
  • #135 - Runs between downtown Vancouver and Simon Fraser University
  • #144 - Connects Simon Fraser University with Metrotown Mall
