Help shape future community centres in northwest Burnaby

Northwest Burnaby is growing fast and residents’ needs are changing too, so we’re hoping to hear from you as we plan new recreation, culture and leisure facilities in this area.

Today we’re launching an online survey to find out what people want to see in facilities and programs in this part of Burnaby, which stretches north of Highway 1 and west of Kensington Avenue.

“This is about making sure your needs are top of mind as we invest in new facilities,” said Mayor Mike Hurley. “Let's build great places for people to exercise, create and connect with neighbours. Your input will help make this happen.”

The feedback provided through this survey will help shape the vision for community centres and facilities in this area of our city. It will help identify activity preferences, trends and future space needs as we explore the development of new facilities in northwest Burnaby.

Residents can fill out the survey and also share their ideas at pop-up events in August and September.

Complete the survey by Monday, September 30, 2019.
