Masks Mandatory at all City Facilities, Heritage Christmas Cancelled

December 8 Update:

In response to the extension of the Provincial Health Order, Heritage Christmas at the Burnaby Village Museum is cancelled for this year. We thank everyone for their understanding and we hope to celebrate with you next year.

As announced by BC's Provincial Health Officer on November 19, 2020, masks are now required for everyone in all public indoor settings and workplaces. This order impacts all indoor spaces in City of Burnaby facilities, including recreation centres, libraries and cultural facilities. People who cannot put on or remove a mask on their own are exempt.

In response to information in the order regarding events and community-based gatherings, Burnaby Village Museum’s Heritage Christmas is closed until further notice. City staff are contacting people who have made bookings to cancel their reservations.
