Burnaby | Kushiro Golden Jubilee Anniversary

In 2015, Burnaby and Kushiro, Japan, will celebrate the Golden Jubilee Anniversary of their relationship as sister cities. From July 7 to 11, Burnaby hosted a number of delegates from Japan to celebrate 50 Years of Friendship, Educational, Economic and Cultural Relations.

Two significant public events took place during the visit to celebrate the valuable relationship between the two cities. A photo album with highlights of the visit can be viewed online.
