High Streamflow Advisory: Fraser River

Updated May 18, 2018

The River Forecast Centre has issued a High Streamflow Advisory for the Fraser River due to increased snow melt. River levels are rising and are expected to continue to rise, creating surging and faster flowing water over the long weekend and through to later next week.

City staff are monitoring water levels, conducting daily patrols of areas adjacent to the Fraser River, and are prepared for possible minor flooding as part of our Flood Response Plan »

The Building Department has put together a Sign Approval brochure and Sign Approval Application to help you with the approval process. Your sign may require additional permits or forms; you can access a complete index of Building applications and brochures by clicking the images linked on the right of this page.
