Gilmore Place Conceptual Master Plan

The Gilmore Place Area is bound by Lougheed Highway, Dawson Street, Gilmore Avenue and Madison Avenue, which includes the Gilmore SkyTrain Station and guideway. A Master Plan has been proposed to assist the Gilmore Place Area’s transformation, over time, into a vibrant, transit-integrated, mixed-use area with diverse housing, employment, service, and leisure opportunities. Open Houses were held to receive input on the future land use concept for the area. These comments have assisted in the preparation of the Conceptual Master Plan for the site.

Some of the concepts include:

  • Public Realm enhancements to Lougheed Highway, Gilmore Avenue and Dawson Street;
  • Provision of a new north/south connection linking Lougheed Highway and Dawson Street;
  • Integration with the Gilmore SkyTrain Station;
  • Access to public plaza spaces throughout the site; and,
  • Opportunities for a broad spectrum of housing, retail and commercial office options.

The Master Plan will inform and guide site specific rezoning applications within the Area. A copy of the Public Hearing Report (Rezoning Reference #14-21) can be viewed online for your reference.
