Building Benchmarking 

Burnaby was one of the first municipalities to sign on to the Building Benchmarking BC project, which involves collecting and monitoring energy and greenhouse gas data from a large number of buildings over time. This data will help guide our plans to retrofit older buildings and build net-zero carbon buildings.
