Understanding Your Electronic Statements

The City of Burnaby is offering ePost, an eBill presentment service, in lieu of paper statements that arrive in the mail. ePost allows you to view and pay your Utility Statement and Tax Notice online instead of receiving a paper bill through the mail system.

What Does it Look Like?

Electronic statements looks identical to the paper statements. If you have any difficulties understanding your statement, read through our Tax Brochure. The second page has information to help you with your statement.

Please keep in mind:

  • Property taxes are collected by Burnaby for a number of Taxation Authorities
  • Each line listed under the heading "Tax Authorities" represent a service for which a property may be taxed
  • Burnaby keeps only the revenue from items listed in the yellow section

Change of Address

If the mailing address on your Tax Notice is incorrect, please complete and submit the Change of Address Area 10, Jurisdiction 301 form directly to BC Assessment.

It is important to keep your address current for property assessment and taxation purposes.
