Studio Theatre

Studio Theatre Studio Theatre James Cowan Theatre Studio Theatre Studio Theatre

The Studio Theatre is an intimate black box-style theatre equipped with state of the art technology. The theatre's movable raked seating allows for many stage configurations, including thrust, in the round, and the traditional front view. This seating can be removed entirely to allow for video and film shoots, or special events. The capacity for the theatre ranges from 100-200 depending on the use of the theatre.

The equipment list for this theatre is extensive and allows for maximum creativity in sound and lighting design. The theatre's stage is 40 feet wide by 30 feet deep, and the proximity of the audience creates an intimate environment for all types of performance. Renters must provide two volunteer ushers for their performances.

Comfortable seating, great sightlines and close proximity to the stage make this theatrical space one to remember.

Studio Theatre viewings are by appointment only and subject to availability.
