Burnaby has appeared repeatedly on TV and movie screens worldwide as Hollywood North has found a home on British Columbia’s lower mainland. Our credits include television hits like X-Files and Stargate SG1 as well as such feature films as Saving Silverman and 3000 Miles to Graceland.

The Burnaby Film Office is the liaison between film producers and the community at large. Over half the studio space in the region is located within the city.

Filming Venues:

Burnaby Village Museum and the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts offer unique opportunities for filming within the natural setting of Deer Lake. Both these facilities are available for exterior filming and interior scenes.
