A permit is required for the installation or removal of any aboveground or underground storage tank. You can download and print an application for a Storage Tank Permit Application here.
Permits are available at Fire Station #1. Permit fees are $50.00 per tank for residential properties and $100.00 per tank for commercial properties, including tax. We accept cash or cheque.
Please note: All tank removal companies must have a valid Burnaby Business Licence and must present the licence number and scheduled date of tank removal/installation when applying for a permit.
