It’s as easy as 3-2-1
Disaster Chef is inspired by the contents of a family’s 72-hour emergency supplies kit and the Great British Columbia ShakeOut, the largest Drop, Cover and Hold On drill in history. Disaster Chef challenges you to think creatively about their assembled emergency supplies, learn more about what to do to be more prepared for any emergency and to play with emergency preparedness principles in the process.
The Disaster Chef contest aims to satisfy four goals: to educate the general public on the importance of emergency preparedness; to enhance community resilience through individual disaster preparedness; to develop a more disaster-resilient communities; and to promote the Great British Columbia ShakeOut.
