Living Wage Program

The City of Burnaby is certified as a Living Wage Employer by the Living Wage for Families Campaign.

Being a Living Wage Employer means we are committed to paying our employees and contracted services employees a living wage.

The Living Wage program was adopted by City Council on June 25, 2019 to support the well-being of everyone who performs work on the City’s behalf. Achieving certification reflects our commitment to creating and sustaining the best quality of life for our community.
