Better At Home

Better at Home is a program to help seniors to live in their own homes longer by providing simple non-medical support services. The program is funded by the Government of British Columbia and managed by the United Way of the Lower Mainland (UWLM). Fees for service are on a sliding scale based on income (some services may be free).

The Burnaby Better at Home Program provides:

  • rides to medical appointments with a week's notice and
  • two hours - every two weeks light housekeeping.
