Who We Are
The Transportation Division manages a variety of traffic operations and street activities within the City. This includes:
- Traffic and pedestrian signals
- Marked and special pedestrian crosswalks
- Traffic control and warning signs
- Roadway pavement markings
- Parking meters and regulations
- Street lighting
- Truck routes and truck permits
- Temporary lane closures and traffic management plans
- Traffic and parking coordination for special events
- Street furniture such as bus shelters, bus benches, and bike racks
- Traffic safety studies
- Anti-graffiti program
The primary objective of the Traffic Division is the safety of all road users, including pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists.
