Who We Are

Budgets and Reporting provides the framework for the City's financial reporting to Council, City Management, staff and the community.

What We Do

The department performs cost analysis, budget planning and monitoring, and develops and maintains sustainable asset and funds management strategies. Staff establish capital accounting structures based on City requirements, provide funding and account for capital works and maintain the City’s asset ledger and related depreciation information. The department is responsible for publication of the Annual Municipal Report and the Financial Plan.
