Who We Are
Information Technology provides city-wide support and services for technology and telecommunications that enables citizens, businesses and staff to access City services and information electronically. The department is responsible for policy, procedures and standards to support technology, improve business processes and ensure protection of City assets.
The department manages the City’s computer application hardware and infrastructure as well as provides support to clients through a central Help Desk. Staff develop, implement and enhance City wide and departmental automated business applications.
What We Do
Provides technical, database, business analysis services and sustainment support to more than 100 computer application systems including Financial Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Corporate Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Fire Dispatch, Library Catalogue Systems and email.
Provides communications network technology to sites, computer centre servers, PCs, thin clients, laptops and printers.
Help Desk Services Staff
Provides a single point of contact on all technical issues, queries and troubleshooting calls from department users .

Thursday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
