International Relations & Friendship Cities Committee

The International Relations & Friendship Cities Committee (IR&FCC) advises and assists in:

  • Review and consideration of all matters pertaining to Sister/Friendship City relationships 
  • Policy and program recommendations to City Council
  • Engaging the Burnaby community and its Sister/Friendship Cities in projects and exchanges that promote cultural awareness, joint learning opportunities, trade and economic development.
  • Review existing Sister/Friendship Cities
