Cameron Seniors' Society

Cameron Seniors' Society works in partnership with staff at Cameron Centre to serve 1,000 members, 55 years and older. Check out the Cameron Seniors' Society website for events, activities and resources.

55+ Membership Fees

Please note: Due to recreation and senior facility closures as a result of COVID-19, 55+ members will receive a refund on their membership fees. All valid 55+ membership fees that were purchased prior to March 18, 2020, have been pro-rated and credited to your City registration account. If you would like a refund in a different form, please contact your local community centre.

To take part in 55+ programs and activities, you can purchase a 55+ single centre or multi-centre membership. You can use the single centre membership if you take part in programs and activities in only one centre, or you can use the multi-centre membership if you enjoy taking part in programs and activities in more than one centre. If you’re a Burnaby citizen 90 years or older, please contact your local 55+ Centre regarding a lifetime membership. Please note most programs and activities are open to non-members for a slightly higher fee.

Single Centre  $19.30 per year
Multi-Centre  $48.25 per year

Access
Entrance to Cameron is via the lower level (Sportshall entrance) located on the west side of the building. The main entrance on Cameron Street as well as the entrance on the east side of the building remain closed. The library is open with limited services. The community desk and seniors centre remain closed.  

Parking
Free parking is available on site. There are two parking lots located to the east and west of the building, both with designated accessible stalls.
