Prices do not include tax. Skate rental is only included in admission fees for Toonie Skate and Parent & Tot Skate & Hockey sessions.

Bringing a group? Groups of 15 or more wanting to attend public or toonie skating sessions need to provide the arena program coordinator with at least five days’ notice so that appropriate staff levels can be arranged. Contact us »

Skating Lessons

Ice skating lessons are offered from September to March on Mondays and Wednesdays, and on Saturdays or Sundays. Browse through our skating lessons on WebReg. Select an age category below, and click the category for Sports – Skating. You can filter the lessons by facility using the drop-down Complex selection menu.

Sport the right gear! A CSA-approved hockey or snow-sports helmet is mandatory for all skate lesson programs. During skating lessons, a parent/guardian is required to stay in the building.

Lesson Registration

Skating program participants can only register in one lesson set at a time. You may register your child for the next lesson set only after the completion of the lessons set they are currently registered in. Your child may be withdrawn from a program(s) if registered in more than one lesson set per session. Ways to register »

Children’s Admission Policy

Children 7 years of age or younger must be accompanied on the ice by a person 16 years of age or older. The ratio of children to accompanying persons must be no greater than 3 to 1. We do not recommend that parents leave their children under 10 years old unaccompanied at our facility.

Parking

The west side parking area at the front entrance of the building is accessed off of Kensington Avenue. Additional parking is available behind the building on the east side located across Sperling Avenue.
