Welcome Back! 

The Burnaby Art Gallery reopens by appointment for exhibition viewing starting July 14.

  • Advance reservation is required.
  • Please call 604-297-4422 to schedule an appointment during opening hours: Tuesday–Friday, 10am-4:30pm.
  • The Gallery is not open on Mondays, weekends or statutory holidays at this time.

For Everyone's Safety: 

  • Expect enhanced cleaning and sanitation protocols with frequent cleaning of high touch points
  • Exhibition viewings will be by appointment only
  • The gallery will have reduced capacity to allow for physical distancing
  • Respect and follow safety signage and staff directions at all times
  • Hand sanitizer will be available on-site
  • Face masks are recommended 
  • When visiting, do your part, stay apart
  • Please do not visit if you’re sick

Gallery exhibitions are the primary focus of the Burnaby Art Gallery. Throughout the year, the Gallery provides visitors with challenging, thought-provoking, inspiring and diverse content representing local, regional and national artistic talent. While focused on works of paper, the artists presented at the Gallery use many artistic languages to contribute to conversations about culture, politics and lived experience.

The Burnaby Art Gallery functions on an invitational basis, and does not accept unsolicited exhibition proposals. We encourage local artists to contact the Burnaby Arts Council regarding exhibition opportunities.
