Arts Alive is celebrating its 35th year of presenting works by students from across the Burnaby School District. Place & Home is this year’s inspirational theme for the elementary students’ collaborative art projects.


Gallery Tour
Sunday, April 23, 2-4pm, drop-in, all ages
Join our knowledgeable guides for a tour and discussion about the 35th edition of Arts Alive. Bonus: Learn more about the print works featured in the The Salish Weave Collection exhibition and the significance of this unique contemporary collection. 

Burnaby Art Gallery's Tour & Tea Series

Join the gallery staff for a guided tour of Arts Alive and The Salish Weave Collection. Finish the tour by settling into the Fireside Room for tea and treats. 

In the BAG: Family Sundays
Sunday, May 14, 1-4pm, drop-in, all ages
Come and make art! Get your minds humming with a visit to the gallery and then into the studio for family-friendly art projects. This month, learn about Arts Alive and The Salish Weave Collection and make your very own collaborative assemblage art!
