Arts Alive 2014

This annual showcase of works by students is held in collaboration with the Burnaby School District. This year’s exhibition highlights works by high school students and includes work by students selected from eight schools across the city. Online exhibition of all student artworks can be found on Flickr. Also check out the interactive game created by Byrne Creek student, Kristy C: Fourteen O'One.

About the featured work: “Hans is based off the Grimm fairytale Hans the Hedgehog. It is a literal representation of the story.”

Street Banners 2014

The City of Burnaby is pleased to unveil the selection of three student artworks as the lead design for the City of Burnaby’s outdoor street banners. The designs were created by three young community artists, all of whom previously participated in the Burnaby Art Gallery’s Arts Alive showcase.
