Baba's House: Lucien Durey and Katie Kozak

June 10 to August 11, 2014
McGill Library

Lucien Durey and Katie Kozak’s collaborative project Baba’s House is comprised of works produced during the artists’ year-long, self-directed residency in the home of Sophie Ostrowski, Kozak’s Ukrainian-Canadian grandmother, who lives in the small town of Creighton, Saskatchewan. During their time at Baba’s, they produced a series of scanned compositions of ephemera, photographs, and beloved objects found throughout the house. In this iteration of the project, household artifacts are displayed alongside scanned arrangements. See more of Baba’s House online at babashouse.tumblr.com.
