City Hall Complex Closing Early on October 21

Burnaby City Hall, the West Building and Civic Offices at Deer Lake Centre are closing at 4:00 PM today in order to provide staff at these locations the allotted required time to vote in the Federal election. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The work in this exhibition has been chosen from a collection of 129 negatives donated to the City of Burnaby Archives by the photographer in 2012. Bill Jeffries has served as Director/Curator of both Presentation House Gallery and Simon Fraser University Gallery, and has contributed written work to numerous journals and publications. At the time these photographs were made, Jeffries had recently completed his BFA at UBC and was inspired by the temporary environment created by the Swap Meet at McGill Library with guest authors in attendance on Wednesday, November 7 at 7pm This is a free event.
