Nicole Preissl (born and raised in Burnaby) is an explorative designer from both Sto:lo and Squamish descent, who has begun introducing traditional artistic customs into her practice as a means of connecting to her culture.

Throughout early 2020, Nicole is engaged in a research-creation commission at the Burnaby Art Gallery. Guided by interests in place-making and storytelling, Nicole has organized a series of participatory public programs as a way to connect with the important site within which the Burnaby Art Gallery is situated.

Everyone is welcome to attend the following free programs.

As space is limited, please call 604-297-4422 to register.
